RoomCloud acquires Parity Rate

Milan, 1 January 2023 – The Italian software house Tecnes Milano Srl, owner of RoomCloud channel manager and booking engine, has acquired the company Parity Rate, which operated as a reseller on the Italian and Spanish markets. 

History

Parity Rate Channel Manager brand was created in 2008 from a collaboration between Tecnes Milano Srl and Bruno Castella. Within two years he became one of the most used channel managers in Europe, with clients in Italy, France, Spain, and England. 

In 2015 Parity Rate became a company completely separated from the founding one, albeit continuing to resell the products and services provided by Tecnes Milano, and consolidated its presence in Italy and Spain. Especially in Spain Parity Rate became one of the best known and most used channel managers on the market. 

In the same period, Tecnes Milano continued the development of the channel manager by launching the RoomCloud brand and completed the offer with the booking engine and integration with metasearch portals. 

The goal of the acquisition 

The objective of the acquisition of Parity Rate by Tecnes Milano Srl is to definitively unify the two brands to present themselves on the market with a solution able to benefit from the experience and reputation of both companies. This acquisition will in fact allow RoomCloud to consolidate its presence in the reference markets and to expand its customer portfolio, exceeding 6,000 properties.
