RESERVATIONS FROM TRIPADVISOR – INSTANT BOOKING
RoomCloud is certified IBE by TripAdvisor® for TripAdvisor Instant Booking that enables booking coming directly from the most popular review site.
TripAdvisor is working with partner connectivity like RoomCloud to show hotel rates and your availability. Travelers, clicking on the “Book on TripAdvisor” button, pass by the search information to the reservation without ever leaving the site. The new service is fully optimized for desktops, tablets and smartphones with 25 languages available. Once a customer clicks the button, the booking details are passed directly to RoomCloud and the hotel only pays commissions on bookings if they were successful.
When the traveler clicks the button of reservation, he will watch the rates and availability of the Hotel Official Site. TripAdvisor gives the hotel the opportunity to pay for this service choosing between two rates: a 15% and a 12% commission rate.
If the hotel decides to pay the 15% commission, he can claim for the Official Site half of the views of users who click the button Reservation. While in case of 12% commission, the hotel will get only a quarter of these views. It’s important to know that there are different levels of certified partners for the Instant Booking service – some levels offer a limited integration. Premium partners offer the most features and RoomCloud is proud to be certified as a Premium Partner.
